About this holiday cottage
This charming and quaint little cottage is situated in the centre of the ancient market town of Burton in Kendal and was originally the old shoemakers cottage.
Recently renovated whilst retaining its old character the cottage is small yet provides cosy accommodation and has been comfortably furnished.
Burton itself is ideally positioned in South Lakeland as a touring centre with Windermere, the Dales and Morecambe all less than half an hour away by car. Within five miles on the Morecambe Bay Coast is Arnside and Silverdale, officially designated "an area of outstanding natural beauty", and which includes an excellent nature reserve at Leighton Moss for the bird lover.
Ground floor - open plan lounge with dining area and fitted kitchen area. First floor - 1 double bedroom with shower cubicle, separate toilet with basin.
Gas fire in lounge - all fuel and power provided and included. Colour T.V. Patio area with chairs. Bed linen is included in the rent. Parking for 2 cars. 1 small dog by arrangement please.
