About this holiday cottage
Situated in a superb position with extensive views over open countryside extending to Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent this former farmhouse is just 3 miles from the popular village of Clapham.
Comfortably furnished the accommodation has been modernised and yet retains much of its original features in the form of open fire, exposed beams and feature stonework. Enjoying a very peaceful position, adjacent to two other properties otherwise surrounded by open fields and moors, there are walks from the house itself onto open moors.
Set in the Forest of Bowland there are some beautiful areas to visit both by on foot and by car with the Dales, Lake District and West Coast all readily accessible.
Ground floor - lounge with dining area, samll sitting room, breakfast kitchen and bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin. First floor - 3 bedrooms - 2 doubles both with extra 2ft 6ins single bed, and 1 double.
Solid fuel stove in lounge, full oil-fired central heating - all fuel and power is provided and included in the rent. Cot, feeding chair, colour T.V., microwave, automatic washing machine, shower. Patio and garden with furniture. Ample parking. Pets by arrangement please at an extra charge of £30 per pet per week (sheep country). Note: Access to this property is via an unmade farm track but is readily passable by most cars.
