This charming cottage has been converted from an old barn and retains a great deal of its original character with exposed roof timbers, feature stone wall and Yorkshire stone floors. It stands in a quite and peaceful location, adjacent to the owners’ house, at the end of a 400 yard private drive.
2 miles from the pretty village of Nunnington the cottage enjoys panoramic views over the surrounding open farmland extending to the North York Moors. It has been very comfortably furnished and well equipped to a high standard to provide excellent holiday accommodation in a true rural setting.
Nunnington is 5 miles from Kirkbymoorside and Helmsley which makes this a superb base for touring the North York Moors, Vale of York and East Coast. Castle Howard and Duncombe Park together with Nunnington Hall are all only a short drive from the cottage. For walkers there are some very pretty local walks with open moors and fells within easy reach.
All on the ground floor – 2 bedrooms – 1 double with en suite bathroom with toilet and basin, and 1 twin. Spacious open plan lounge with dining area and separate fitted kitchen, shower room with toilet and basin.
Underfloor central heating – all fuel and power is included in the rent. Cot, high chair, colour T.V., DVD player, microwave, shower, fridge/freezer, automatic washer/dryer, dishwasher, Wi-fi broadband available at extra charge. Bed linen and towels are included.
